    Tom’s Crop

Our Merlot goes well with roast and casseroled meats.  It has a deep ruby colour with a clean nose of dark fruits, some oak aromas and a touch of spice. It has flavours of plum and tobacco with a full but mellow Merlot taste.  Merlot is the biggest selling red varietal in the world.  The Bordeaux region name is lierally derived from  ‘young blackbird’. Named for number two grandchild.

    Ruby Rosé

Made for drinking now, Rose’ goes well with Asian dishes, salads, cheese platters and as a verandah wine  (whilst you relax and unwind). Slightly more savoury than our Merlot Rose’. The grapes for Rose’ are  harvested one to two weeks earlier than those  made into red wine, hence it has a  lighter, refreshing flavor. Named after our fifth grandchild.

    Oliver’s harvest

Named for our first grandchild, Pinot noir is a difficult grape to grow, the hardest of all wines to make, yet the most rewarding. The name Pinot noir is derived from the French words for pine and black and describes the small tight bunches. Pinot noir  wine has a light red colour and a hue of aged straw.  The aromas are of red summer fruits, it is  smooth and intensely fragrant.

It goes well with game, roast meats, antipasto  and soft cheeses.
